Berry Wines

We use only locally grown berries and a lot of them in these totally local wines. By using more berries our wines have a unique color, aroma and taste not seen in other commercial berry wines. Our berry wines come in both a dinner and a dessert variety.

Strawberry: Our signature wine is Strawberry. We use strawberries grown in the historic Chassell area. Chassell has been a strawberry growing area for over 100 years and its Strawberry festival is the oldest running festival n Michigan. Our Strawberry Nectar is a unique cordial perfect with a little chocolate after dinner or in the quite of the evening by a warm fire

Blueberry: Blueberries grow everywhere, but as every Yooper knows the best are the northern varieties. And the best of the best are from Lake Linden on the Keweenaw Peninsula. Both the deep blue wine and Nectar have a incredible blueberry flavor that takes us back to memories of grandmothers country pies and the beauty of those late summer days in the northern woods.

Blackberry: Blackberries are not grown commercially here so we pick our berries our self from our own secret patch. We'd tell you where but then we'd have to kill you. These wines are in very limited quantity so get yours before Christmas.

Cranberry: Our cranberries come from our southern cousins across the border in Wisconsin. Although the people aren't as hardy as Yoopers their berries are world class. We make this wine in a tart dinner version only, and we advise having some sliced turkey close by or the craving will drive you crazy
